One thing I tried was "teaching" Windows Media Center the remote codes because I did not find my cable box in their list of cable boxes with known remote codes. I did set up the MCE IR blaster for Windows Media Center to use with a different Hauppauge capture device. I already had 2 other ways to change channels at my disposal, one of which is an MCE IR blaster. I have to confess that I never set up my Colossus' IR blaster.

I added numbers 1, 2, 3 like 5 times now and it still doesn't put them into the TV box. If i click on that channel it will load to it, but when it puts in the numbers to the TV box. I add them and it says that they added them, but when i try to go to a channel with one of them numbers it doesn't work. I managed to get Power and enter to work, but the numbers on my remote just don't seem to want to work.Įdit: I got all the numbers working besides 1, 2 and 3 I even tried to program it myself, but it just kept telling me "LearnKey(1) failed" Does anyone have a video for setting it up besides the one on the Hauppauge YouTube channel? I spent like 2 hours last night trying to get the IR blaster working WinTV with no luck. Now i just have to figure out this IR blaster that will won't work for the life of me. It turned itself back on some how even though i turned it off till next reboot. I think it might have just been my Anti Virus.
